The Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) has successfully rehabilitated the Jowhar automatic weather station.
FAO rehabilitated the station, which is part of 19 other weather stations, with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
This represents a significant achievement for Somalia.
These 19 weather stations will provide essential real-time weather data, helping to improve agricultural planning, enhance disaster preparedness, and strengthen efforts to build climate resilience across the country.
This initiative is crucial for addressing climate challenges and supporting sustainable development in Somalia.
