Khadija Mohamed Al-Makhzoumi, Somalia’s Minister of Environment and Climate Change, met today with the Governor of Banadir and Mayor of Mogadishu, Yusuf Hussein Jimale, to push forward the campaign against single-use plastic bags.

The ministry’s officials commended Banadir’s proactive stance in enforcing environmental laws and pledged continuous support for the city’s environmental initiatives.
