The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change of Somalia recently held a meeting to approve the National Adaptation Plan (NAP), chaired by Minister of State Ahmed Omar.

The meeting included Permanent Secretary Kamal Gutale, Director-General Yusuf Samatar, and officials from various Federal States, along with representatives from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

This plan is designed to guide Somalia’s efforts in enhancing climate resilience, addressing the country’s vulnerabilities to climate change, and promoting sustainable development.
